NGINX 1.6 and 1.7 released

NGINX 1.6 was forked from the current 1.5 ‘mainline’ branch, and the 1.5 branch renumbered to 1.7. This is an annual checkpoint where we take the current mainline (feature) branch and fork it to a stable (no new features) branch. We continue active development on the renumbered mainline branch.

Changes with nginx 1.7.0                                         24 Apr 2014

    *) Feature: backend SSL certificate verification.

    *) Feature: support for SNI while working with SSL backends.

    *) Feature: the $ssl_server_name variable.

    *) Feature: the "if" parameter of the "access_log" directive.

Had a spare 15 minutes, so upgraded the server I have to 1.7.0

Nothing major in the new version, but still nice to be upto date with it.

I've just updated – noticed mainly related to SSL.
