Why did you choose co and uk as a domain?

I'm curious behind why you choose co and uk as part of the domain. Is there a reason?

In fact i have a suspicion about uk because you're from the uk. But i am confused about the "co" part.

I've seen some other co.uk websites around. But i've never discovered what the co means

That explains the .co part of the TLD used

.co.uk is a 2nd level domain, and it's only been possible to register a full .uk since June 2014

New registrations directly under .uk have been accepted by Nominet since 10 June 2014 08:00 BST, however there is a reservation period for existing customers who already have a .co.uk, .org.uk, .me.uk, .net.uk, .ltd.uk or .plc.uk domain to claim the corresponding .uk domain, which runs until 07:59 BST on 10 June 2019.[6]

Interesting.. Why didn't you go with a ".com"

I remember I tried to register a ".ca" domain but they asked to fill in some extra info and something about Canada laws? more than what they normally ask me for a .com. So i ended up going with .com. Less hassle.

WikiPedia and most guides need to be updated. They still list the original old rules that you had to be a citizen of The UK to own a .UK domain name. You actually only need a verifiable and functioning contact address (company registration in the uk doesn't hurt either).

Of course going about that way takes longer and requires more paperwork. And they do reverify every year, even IF you register for a longer term.

My advice is do not bother trying unless you're willing to submit proof of documentation and identification.
