The live load generator test has been completed. All systems operated as designed, and we have transferred successfully back to utility power. Data was collected during the test which Net Access will be analyzing along with Eaton, the manufacturer of the main electrical switch gear.

During the next few days we will analyze the data and provide additional details. We will then outline our next steps in determining what the root cause of the switch failure was. We thank you for your patience as we continue to troubleshoot this issue.

Our Newark colocation provider has provided the following update related to Saturday's power outage.

On Wednesday, April 16th, beginning at 11PM EDT, Net Access will be performing a live load generator transfer test. This procedure is being performed to test and validate the operation of the switchgear due to the incident that occurred this past Saturday evening. Services on UPS A/D/E are supplied via this switchgear.

Net Access will have additional staff on hand for this operation. In addition to our engineering and facilities personnel, we will have technicians from the manufacturer on site. We do not expect any issues with this test, and we will be able to manually intervene if necessary during the validation.

Our UPS plant is re-energized and at 100% capacity. We are taking this step at the recommendation of Eaton, our electrical switchgear vendor. As we previously communicated, the issue on Saturday evening was caused by the switch going into a lockout condition during an unplanned utility power outage. During the test we will be able to isolate whether the condition can be replicated. This is a necessary step in the troubleshooting process and will determine the next steps that we must take in addressing this matter.

Services B and C will not be tested during this operation. Once again, we do not expect any interruptions in service during this maintenance.
